Effective date: October 13, 2026. This policy explains how Trident Event Group Inc. ("we", "us"), which operates Trident Films at tridentfilms.ca, collects, uses and protects personal information. What we collect
When you fill out our inquiry form, book a call or email us, we collect the information you choose to share. That usually includes your name, email address, phone number, wedding or event date, venue and city, the services you are interested in, and any details you add about your plans. If you book with us, we also keep the contract, invoice and payment records needed to deliver your film.
When you browse this website, our analytics tools collect standard usage information such as the pages you visit, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location (city or region) and how you arrived at the site. This is gathered with cookies and similar technologies and is used in aggregate.
How we use it
- To answer your inquiry, check our availability and prepare a quote.
- To plan, film, edit and deliver your wedding or event film if you book with us.
- To send you contracts, invoices, reminders and messages about your booking.
- To understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business and deliver your event, such as our booking and CRM software, our form, scheduling, email and payment providers, our website host and analytics tools, and, where you book a combined package, the Trident Event Group teams (photography, DJ or photobooth) working on your event. These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. Some of them may store information outside Canada, in which case it may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

This website uses cookies for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up on your inquiry. If you book with us, we keep booking, contract and financial records for as long as needed to deliver your film and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to further use of it (subject to legal or contractual limits). Send your request to hello@tridenteventgroup.ca and we will respond within 30 days.
